In business since 1965 and an Air Tractor dealer since October of 1996, Avialsa is a major aircraft entity in Spain. With nearly 150 employees, the company provides aircraft sales and rental, parts sales, technical and maintenance support for a wide range of aircraft. They have a fully authorized avionics and propeller shop, encompassed in their 18,200 square feet of hangar space at Valencia Airport. In addition to Air Tractor, Avialsa is a dealer for PZL, Transland, Micronair Ltd. and S-Tec. Vicente Huerta, Jr., president of the firm, says their maintenance center is fully authorized by the Spanish Civil Aviation Administration to service PZL, Air Tractor, Piper, Cessna, and Ayres Aircraft; McCauley, Hartzell and Hamilton Standard propellers; and ARC, Narco, Bendix-King and Collins avionics. Avialsa's Air Tractor sales division, Air Tractor Europe, handles Air Tractor sales in Spain, France, Portugal, Greece, Italy, Croatia, Israel, Turkey, and North Africa.
